Our herd of Hereford cattle are born and matured slowly on the banks of the River Severn. Every aspect of their lives is managed to produce the very best quality tender, fat laced beef. Our herd is:
Free range – all our cattle are free to roam our pastures. We have many generations of the same family.
Grass fed – all our cattle are grass fed, benefitting from the nutrient rich flood meadows.
Native breed – our cattle are Herefords, which have long been the icons of the cattle industry. Their breeding is steeped in tradition and we are steadfast supporters, committed to producing quality beef naturally and economically.
Kennedy the bull – our gentle giant! Happily spends his days looking after his girls. Herefords are known for their docility, and being regularly handled they never get too stressed, which shows in their melt in the mouth meat.
Well hung – not just Kennedy! All our meat is hung for a minimum of 21 days.
We run a flock of over 300 welsh mule ewes, which are reared on the nutrient rich pastures of the Severn Valley.
